Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has stirred controversy after once again accusing Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo of having a past in adult films in the Benin Republic before moving into mainstream Nollywood.
Taking to Facebook, Olunloyo resurfaced a 2024 post where she alleged that Iyabo Ojo once worked as a porn star in Benin Republic and has spent years trying to conceal it to maintain a clean Nollywood image.
According to Olunloyo, Iyabo’s claims of being raped five times were fabricated for attention and to hide her early involvement in adult films.
Iyabo Ojo has been feeding a false narrative for years that she was raped five times—something she did for followers and attention PLUS TO COVER UP the real story. Five different men knacked her in adult films,” Olunloyo wrote.
She further alleged that Iyabo fled to Canada after refusing to issue a written apology for allegedly tarnishing Naira Marley and Sam Larry’s names in late Mohbad’s case.
This is not the first time Olunloyo has taken jabs at the actress. Earlier, she claimed Iyabo’s mother died from complications related to paranoid schizophrenia and accused Iyabo of abusing her. In response, Iyabo blasted Olunloyo during an Instagram Live session, calling her life pathetic and suggesting her estranged relationship with her children was telling of her character.
Interestingly, after Iyabo’s office was gutted by fire in June, Olunloyo publicly sympathized with her, advising her to install smoke detectors while rebuilding.
The longstanding feud between the two has repeatedly drawn public attention, with Iyabo previously penning an open letter to Olunloyo’s sons, urging them to forgive and support their mother despite family issues.
