Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas has hit back at critics who bashed her for putting her 3-year-old daughter in a stroller.

Currently on vacation, the actress shared photos of herself and her daughter, showing the toddler comfortably seated in her stroller. However, the images drew backlash from some followers, who questioned why a child of that age would still be using one.

Taking to Instagram to address the comments, Yetunde expressed disappointment over what she described as “bullying” towards her child. She warned that she would not tolerate any negative remarks about her daughter.

You fools bullying a 3-year-old on why she’s still using a stroller are really shameless. I am not that gentle when it comes to my child; I will rubbish you,” she wrote. “When is it a crime for a toddler to use a stroller?”

The actress further blasted critics for their unsolicited parenting advice, questioning their home training and telling them to focus on their own children. She explained that during her time in Europe, she often goes shopping alone for hours, making the stroller a necessity for her toddler.

Don’t hide under emojis and drop silly comments on my page. I will respond in a way you won’t like. Bye Felicia. Peace and love,” she concluded.

Just two months ago, Yetunde addressed rumours that she and her husband were expecting a second child. She dismissed the claims, stressing that God’s timing is perfect and urging rumour mongers to focus instead on watching her latest movie.
