The internet is buzzing as Aisha Lawal slams Seiilat following a fiery exchange between the Nollywood actresses. What started as a subtle jab from Seiilat on Instagram quickly escalated into a full-blown confrontation.
In a video shared online, Seiilat accused her senior colleague, Aisha Lawal, of constantly frustrating her and mistaking her calmness for weakness. She warned Aisha to back off or risk facing her wrath.
Tell Aisha Lawal to back off; if she doesn’t, she is going to find what she is looking for. I’ve been holding back, but gentility isn’t stupidity,” Seiilat declared.
Aisha, not one to stay silent, hit back in the comments, daring Seiilat to mention her name directly. “If dem born you well, tag me now. Rubbish,” she fired back.
Seiilat wasted no time in responding, promising to prove her strength. “I will show you that I am a true daughter of Jimoh Adebowale,” she replied.
The drama has since gained attention, with fans taking sides and weighing in on the public face-off. Interestingly, this is not the first time Aisha Lawal has been in the spotlight for controversies. Recently, skitmaker Woli Agba also called her out, accusing her of insulting him in a film scene and choosing to air his displeasure openly rather than in private.
Away from the feud, Aisha Lawal has continued to make bold claims in interviews, insisting that Yoruba actors and filmmakers laid the foundation of Nollywood and therefore deserve rightful ownership of the industry’s narrative.
