Nigerian talent manager and music executive, Paulo Okoye, is overjoyed as his granddaughter, Zariah Nwamaka, marks her first birthday. Taking to Instagram, he shared his love for her and promised that she would journey with him across the globe.
Happiest birthday, my granddaughter Zariah Nwamaka!! 1st Birthday!! Soon you will travel with me all over the world!!! I can’t wait!!! We party soon,” he wrote, tagging his daughter, Vanessa Okoye.
Zariah’s arrival last year brought immense joy to the Okoye family. Vanessa had announced her daughter’s birth in September, revealing her name with adorable photos. Paulo, thrilled at becoming a grandfather, proudly embraced his new title and even updated his Instagram bio to reflect it.
Vanessa, now a proud mother, also poured out her emotions in a moving tribute. She admitted that motherhood came with challenges, moments of doubt, and sleepless nights, but her daughter’s laughter and smile became her strength. She described Zariah as her “energy booster” and “greatest blessing,” thanking God for the joy her child has brought into her life.
Her heartfelt note read in part:
Happy 1st Birthday, my precious daughter, Zariah Nwamaka Okoye. You are my angel, my heartbeat, my greatest achievement. You’ve brought light into my world, gave me reasons to smile, and reminded me daily why I cannot give up.”
Adding to the celebration, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo also marked the milestone. She posted photos of the celebrant, showered her with prayers, and affectionately called her “my precious little princess.” Iyabo, who became a grandmother through Vanessa’s childbirth, continues to show unwavering love and support for her stepdaughter.
