Annie Idibia has once again dropped some thought-provoking messages online, reflecting on growth, peace, and self-worth.
In her Instagram stories, the actress revealed that her perspective on life changed when she realized she could be kind and calm while still drawing strong lines to protect her energy.
“My whole life changed when I realised I could be humble and calm yet still take no shit and set solid boundaries to protect my energy,” she wrote.
In another post, Annie reminded her followers that life is too short to live unhappily.
“We are not here long enough to be living unhappily,” she shared.
She also advised against letting toxic people back into one’s life, warning that those who once tried to destroy your peace or reputation rarely change.
“Never re-friend or re-family anyone who has tried to ruin your character, finances, or relationships. A snake may shed its skin, but it’s still a snake,” she added.
The mother of two, who has been fully embracing her single life, recently wrote that she is enjoying her peace of mind and acknowledged herself as “a child of grace.”
While her ex-husband, singer 2Baba, continues to make public appearances with his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, Annie shared that she’s grateful for the stage of life she’s in. According to her, she once prayed for the life she now has and is learning to enjoy her solitude — even simple moments like eating breakfast alone.
In another post, Annie penned a note to herself, commending her strength and grace through life’s changes. Last month, she revealed her hopes for her next relationship, saying she desires a bond where both partners grow to become “hotter, healthier, happier, and wealthier together.”
She added that she’s now in her “soft life era,” one that comes with peace and clear boundaries.
Annie has also been open about her experiences as a mother, sharing a touching moment when her daughters, Isabel and Olivia, expressed how much they missed her during a work trip. She said their words “hit deep,” promising to return home soon.
“My girls said, ‘Mama, we miss you so much. This is the closest we can get to feeling you!’ That hit me deep,” she wrote. “Mama is coming home soon.”
