Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo calls Chioma Good Hair the best godmother as she celebrates the arrival of her grandson, Rakeem, in grand style. The actress recently hosted a lavish welcome party for the little one, who arrived in Nigeria with his parents, Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
The colourful event drew the presence of several celebrities including Chioma Good Hair, Toyin Abraham, and Semilore Pweety, among others. Taking to Instagram, Iyabo expressed her gratitude to everyone who came to celebrate with her family and gave a special mention to Chioma, describing her as “the best godmother in town.”
“A very big thanks to everyone who came to welcome home my prince charming @rakeem_mk.
Special thanks to the best godmother in town @chiomagoodhair,” she wrote.
Earlier this year, Chioma had praised Iyabo for her devotion and care while she was in Canada helping Priscilla with her newborn. She described the actress as “grandma of the year,” noting how deeply in tune Iyabo was with her grandson’s needs.
Chioma’s bond with the family runs deep. When baby Rakeem was born, she gifted him a Gucci diaper bag—earning the playful title “Rich Aunt” from Priscilla.
Their friendship has also stood the test of time. On Chioma’s birthday in June, Priscilla celebrated her as “the Queen of Fashion” and her biggest supporter, describing her as kind-hearted and irreplaceable.
