Nigerian socialite and nightlife king, Cubana Chief Priest, has left fans emotional after sharing a heartfelt moment with Nollywood veteran Ngozi Ezeonu while shooting his new music video.
The video, filmed in a church setting, features Ezeonu portraying his late mother — a role that clearly struck a deep chord with him. The entrepreneur, who ventured into music earlier this year, recounted how he grew up in a strong Catholic home and how much he misses his mother.
Sharing behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram, he wrote:
“On set for Chibuike visuals with my mom, legendary @officialngoziezeonu. It’s more than a music video; it’s my true-life story — a movie. Directed by my amazing sis @directorpink_. We’re putting in so much hard work. Wait for it… Everything na water.”
The clip touched many of his followers, who flooded the comments with emotional reactions.
One user, sc_foodmart, wrote:
“All I see lately is a man fulfilling his childhood dreams and keeping his promise to himself. Love that for CP.”
Another, mrs_chiudo, added:
“Omo, I cried too. I miss my mum.”
Others remarked on the uncanny resemblance between Ngozi Ezeonu and Cubana’s late mother, with many assuring him that his mother would be proud of the man he’s become.
