Dayo Amusa celebrates son as he turns one with a brand-new track, marking his first birthday with music inspired by the joy he has brought into her life.

Nollywood star Dayo Amusa is honouring her son’s first birthday in a special way—by releasing a new song dedicated to him. On Tuesday, her first child clocked one and earlier, the actress had shared stylish photos of him, expressing gratitude for the chance to be his mother.

In her latest post, Dayo announced the release of her new single titled Firewamiri, which she said was written for her son, Oluwafirewamiri.

As we celebrate your first birthday today, OLUWAFIREWAMIRI @babyolufire, I pen down this note of words to you,” she wrote, adding that the song is now available on major music platforms.

Ahead of his big day, the actress also posted photos of her son dressed in Igbo attire, proudly calling him “Mazi Odogwu Fire.”

Dayo welcomed her son in November last year, describing his arrival as her greatest treasure and thanking God for making motherhood possible for her. In June, she shared updates on his growth at seven months, calling him her rainbow after the storm and revealing his first words.

When he turned six months, she posted adorable photos and reflected on how quickly time was moving, adding that both she and his father were proud to raise him.

However, during his naming ceremony, her son’s father was noticeably absent, and actor Damola Olatunji stood in his place. When people speculated, Dayo responded sharply, asking whether their own husbands were missing.

Last December, she opened up about her painful journey to motherhood, revealing she had suffered three miscarriages. She also shared that her ex-husband abandoned her due to her struggles with infertility and went on to have a child with someone else.

By February, Dayo shed even more light on her experience, recounting how she once broke down in tears in front of her domestic staff, praying and pleading with God after going through multiple surgeries and medical procedures.
