Chizzy Alichi laments over son’s resemblance to her husband as the Nollywood actress took to Instagram to challenge people’s opinions about who her baby boy, Kenechukwu, looks like. According to her, everyone seems quick to say the child is his father’s twin, but she strongly believes he looks exactly like her.

Chizzy asked her followers to slow down, look closely, and they would see that baby Kene is her carbon copy.

How can you people say that baby Kene looks like his daddy… una dey look am fast fast. Take your time and look at him, you will see that he’s mummy’s carbon copy. Clock it,” she wrote.

She also encouraged fans to follow her son’s page and reminded them that her new movie, My Baby Daddy, is still streaming on YouTube.

However, many of her followers didn’t agree with her.
One commenter wrote, “A very beautiful boy just like his daddy.”
Another added, “Ma go to court, but he’s so cute.”
Someone else insisted, “Even if we take 10 years to look at him, he still looks like his father.”
Others teased her playfully, telling her she had “just born her husband” and describing Kene as “daddy’s twin.”

Earlier in May, Chizzy announced the birth of her baby boy, describing the journey as the toughest phase of her life. She shared how she prayed, joined online prayer meetings, paid tithes to different churches, and held on to her faith throughout the process.

By October, she and her husband, Chike Mbah, dedicated their son to God in a grand ceremony surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues. The dedication attracted familiar faces including Rita Dominic, Charles Okocha, Nancy Isime, Medlin Boss, Peggy Ovire, Uche Elendu, and others. Sharing photos and videos afterward, Chizzy said the moment still felt unreal and that her life was proof that God listens. She prayed for wisdom, patience, and love to raise her son in the way of God.

Earlier in the year, the actress also called out social media users fond of praying for her to conceive whenever she congratulates her pregnant colleagues. She noted that such comments made her avoid commenting on posts and questioned why people assumed they knew what she and her husband were dealing with.
