Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- OND, HND, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
