AC Milan have agreed a deal in principle to sign Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek for a fee worth around 18.5 million euros. AC Milan have scheduled new, final round of talks with Chelsea today in order to complete details Ruben Loftus Cheek deal.
Loftus-Cheek has just 12 months remaining on his contract this summer and has already been told by Chelsea that he can move on.
The Chelsea academy graduate has made over 200 appearances for the Blues since making his debut in 2014, scoring 16 goals.
He also earned international recognition with 10 England caps and a place in the Three Lions’ 2018 World Cup squad.
Chelsea is looking to trim their bloated squad. Kante and Koilibaly have left to join Al Ittihad and Al Hilal, while Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech are also on their way to Saudi Arabia to join Al Ahli and Al Nassr.
Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic are also heading out of Chelsea, but they are staying in England to join Arsenal and Manchester City respectively.
