Nollywood actor Akin Olaiya wedding Nikkai has sparked warm reactions as the actor shared a touching message of gratitude following the ceremony’s success.
Posting a video from the intimate celebration on Instagram, the Yoruba movie star thanked Almighty Allah for His grace and mercy, which he said made the event possible. Akin expressed deep appreciation to his friends, family, and supporters for standing by him.
“A big thanks to Almighty Allah for the success of my NIKKAI CEREMONY, which could have been done without his grace and mercy… Alhamdulilahi Robil Alamina.
I as well appreciate my friends, family and all the well-wishers for their unlimited support.
May Allah in His Majesty be with you and your household… Insha Allah bikudiratulahi Amin,” he wrote.

The Nikkai comes shortly after Akin Olaiya reportedly got married for the second time. Over the weekend, clips from the low-key ceremony surfaced online, one showing the actor dancing with his bride, who wore a visibly calm and reserved look.
This marks another chapter in Akin’s personal journey. In 2022, his ex-wife surprised him on his birthday with a special praise-singing performance involving top Nollywood stars like Faithia Williams and Abbey Lanre, which brought the actor to tears.
Back in 2020, Akin also made headlines when a photo of him and Bimbo Oshin in wedding attire sparked rumours. The actress later clarified the images were from a movie set.
