In a devastating turn of events, Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, known as Nigeria’s tallest man, has tragically died at the age of 48. Afeez, who stood an astonishing 7 ft 4, had been battling prolonged sickness, primarily due to chronic hip arthritis.
Reports indicate that Afeez’s health had deteriorated over the past few months, prompting concerns among his family and loved ones. Recognizing the severity of his condition, he sought financial assistance to undergo the necessary surgery. However, despite his efforts, complications arose, and people rushed him to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) on the evening of June 14. Unfortunately, his condition worsened, and he succumbed to his illness around 7:30 pm.
