Media personality Agatha Amata, ex-wife of Nollywood actor Fred Amata, joyfully celebrated her daughter Steph’s wedding to her Caucasian partner.
Taking to Instagram, Agatha shared heartwarming photos from the intimate ceremony and expressed her pride and happiness at her daughter’s vows.
Agatha poured out her blessings, wishing the couple a lifetime of love and happiness. Quoting Proverbs 18:22, she acknowledged the bold step her daughter had taken and shared how proud she was of her.
Your vows make me proud and happy. I celebrate you, my beautiful daughter @baby5teph. As you begin this new chapter in your life, my blessings and best wishes go with you. May your union be blessed with all of life’s goodness,” she wrote.
Though absent at the wedding, Fred Amata’s absence sparked conversation, with many noting that the actor was also absent from his son Oreva’s wedding to his American wife in 2023. Agatha, however, remained the proud Mother of the Day at both occasions, fully embracing her role in the children’s lives after parting ways with Fred in 2005.
The former couple, despite their differences, share two children—Oreva and Stephanie—and Agatha has continued to co-parent as amicably as possible, despite the challenges.
