Former Aston Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor recently made an apparently unexpected forecast regarding the teams that will probably finish in the top four of the Premier League in the upcoming season.
The former Premier League forward believes Aston Villa will place in the top four next year. Unai Emery is the manager of the team.
Emery guided the Villains to the seventh rank during the previous season, and they will now compete in the Europa Conference League in 2019.
Impressed by what the Spanish manager has achieved so far at the club since replacing Steven Gerrard in the dugout, Agbonlahor told talkSPORT:
“If he had started the season off, God knows where Aston Villa would have finished.
“Villa have got money to spend; it wouldn’t shock me if Villa are fighting for top four.”
