Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s current team has announced Nike as its new kit maker. The club’s official Twitter account announced on Sunday. The statement reads, “We are delighted to announce Nike as our official kit supplier for the 2023-24 season.” Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival in January this year.
Ronaldo, 38, has a lifetime agreement with the sportswear brand and is on a 10-year contract for £147 million.
Ronaldo’s squad, Al-Nassr, has shifted from Arabic giants Duneus to Nike as their jersey provider. The team has collaborated with Nike three times, with previous collaborations occurring from 1997 to 2001 and from 2010 to 2012.
The change in the manufacturer is unlikely to result in a big visual shift, given Nike’s style inspired Duneus’ current kit design.
Fierce Rival, Al-Hilal, a Saudi pro league team, has recently signed a five-year partnership with a well-known sportswear company, Puma, as the league’s worldwide image develops.
