Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara has returned to full training ahead of the Reds’ clash against league leaders Arsenal after spending two months on the sidelines with a hip injury.
The Spain international last featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side in February, taking part in the team’s 3-0 defeat against Wolves.
Thiago’s availability for selection ahead of this weekend’s fixture could hand his manager a major boost after Liverpool’s midfield failed to withstand Manchester City and Chelsea.
Alongside Thiago, winger Luis Diaz also made his return to full training on Thursday.
The Colombian, who signed for Liverpool in January 2022, has been out since October due to a persistent knee injury.
Liverpool announced the return of Thiago to training via a post on twitter:

Thiago isn’t the only player to have missed out on a lot of action for Liverpool during 2022-23. Their injury list has been a repeated cause for concern fot Jurgen Klopp and his staff, as numerous players have been sidelined throughout the season, including Naby Keita and Bajcetic out at the moment.
Next up for Liverpool in the Premier League is an extremely difficult home match against league leaders Arsenal.
