Popular singer Alpha P recently opened up about the inspiration behind his music, revealing that he dedicates his songs to women.
In a candid interview, Alpha P expressed his admiration for women, stating, “I’m a lover of women, and my music reflects that.”
This revelation sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with fans sharing mixed opinions. One user, mrwellz101, commented,
Any man that loves this guy’s song is a woman,” while another, onyiclassique, simply wrote, “I reserve my statement.” Others, like smartochuka, were more enthusiastic, asking, “But how can anyone not love women? Like, are you okay?”
Despite the differing opinions, Alpha P remains unapologetic about his creative direction. He has been a notable figure in the music industry, with hit tracks like “Paloma,” “Faya,” “Treasure,” and “Oh No,” all making significant impacts on the charts.
One intriguing aspect of Alpha P’s career is his early days in a music group with Rema back in Benin. The group eventually disbanded after releasing a few tracks, and both artists pursued solo careers. Although Alpha P and Rema have not collaborated since their split, Alpha P faced accusations of copying Rema’s style when he first gained prominence. However, these claims were largely dismissed after fans learned about their shared history.
Alpha P is now focusing on the international music scene, while Rema continues to evolve his sound with tracks like “Ozeba,” showcasing a distinct style that differs from his earlier work.
