Nollywood actresses Angela Okorie and Doris Ogala have reignited their long-standing feud after Doris reacted to Angela’s comments about Regina Daniels’ ongoing marital crisis with Senator Ned Nwoko.
Days ago, Regina Daniels had allegedly cried out over domestic violence in her marriage. In a viral video, the actress appeared distressed while her brother confronted men believed to have been sent by her husband.
Reacting to the viral clip, Angela Okorie expressed sarcasm and amusement, questioning why some people had tagged her in the video as though she was the one being “beaten inside a Ferrari and private jet.”
Her comment didn’t sit well with Doris Ogala, who quickly fired back. Doris accused Angela of bringing men into her former matrimonial home and physically assaulting her ex-husband.
Angela, in turn, went on a lengthy Instagram rant, accusing Doris of paying bloggers to tarnish her image. She claimed that gossip platforms like Instablog9ja had been taking money to publish lies about her for years.
“Instablog, you are so cheap. You have always been a hater. I don’t think that ugly-looking Doris is talking to me as she pays Instablog to post that nonsense. You can never bring me down, not even with your cooked-up lies. Nigerians, Instablog is evil. They have constantly lied against me for over six to seven years,” she wrote.
Angela further described her critics as “disgraceful, ugly chimpanzees trying to be relevant” and declared that God’s hand was upon her life, hence her enemies would continue to fail.
“You want people to hate me for what? People already love me. You can’t change the narrative about me anymore. Shame on all of you disgraceful, ugly chimpanzees trying so hard to be relevant with my name,” she added.
However, Doris wasn’t backing down. In her response, she mocked Angela, calling her an “illiterate” and insisting she hadn’t seen anything yet.
“Angela, you haven’t seen anything yet. You can’t blackmail Instablog9ja; their integrity is top-notch. You are too small to threaten them. I’m glad you’ve opened your nyash by spreading that video yourself. So nobody believes your abortion story anymore. I hope your oyibo men are paying well because your rent is almost due,” she wrote.
This isn’t the first time both actresses have clashed online. In 2023, Angela shaded Doris after her private photos allegedly leaked on social media. Doris retaliated with a series of damning accusations — from practicing black magic to sleeping with men for money, owing debts, and allegedly assaulting her domestic staff.
