Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has addressed rumours circulating about her mental state following her recent outbursts directed at colleagues Mercy Johnson and Zubby Michael.
Taking to her Instagram story, Angela dismissed claims of a mental breakdown and criticized those attributing her behaviour to madness.
In her statement, Angela condemned those who merged her photos with Mercy Johnson and Zubby Michael, suggesting they looked more like mad people. She accused her detractors of attempting to silence her truth by labeling her as mentally unstable and emphasized that she will not be silenced.
Angela called out Zubby and Mercy, accusing them of orchestrating efforts to tarnish her image and warning them to leave her alone. She declared that this is just the beginning of her speaking out against injustice.
The controversy surrounding Angela began when she criticized Zubby Michael for his alleged lack of public mourning following the death of Junior Pope, questioning his motives and accusing him of seeking to dominate the industry. She further criticized Zubby for his appearance at the funeral, his attire, and his monetary gifts to the family.
Angela also targeted Mercy Johnson, accusing her and her mother of witchcraft and alleging involvement in occult practices. These accusations escalated when Angela went live on Instagram with a former friend of Mercy’s, who made further allegations against the actress.
Despite the heated exchanges, neither Zubby Michael nor Mercy Johnson has responded to Angela’s accusations.
