Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has cleared the air regarding rumors of her alleged eviction for unpaid rent. Taking to social media, she refuted the claims, expressing shock that anyone would believe such false narratives.
Okorie, known for her roles in movies like Hooked and The Code, strongly denied any involvement in the supposed eviction, explaining that she wasn’t even at home when the alleged video was filmed. She claimed the rumors were part of a coordinated attempt by certain individuals, including a figure she referred to as “Nwayi gala,” to tarnish her image.
The actress did not hold back in her response, asserting that if she had been home, the situation would have escalated dramatically. Okorie vowed to fight back against those trying to damage her reputation and warned that legal action would follow.
Anyone who pays people to spread lies about me is evil,” she stated firmly. “I’m ready for battle, and someone will serve as an example.”
Despite facing public scrutiny and personal attacks, Angela Okorie continues to thrive, shifting her focus from Nollywood to her budding music career.
