Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has proudly shared insights into her globe-trotting lifestyle, emphasizing her successful visa record and her love for America.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Angela revealed that she has never faced visa rejection in her years of international travel. Despite holding dual citizenship, the actress humorously pointed out the challenges of using a Nigerian passport:
“If I tell you I have never been rejected for a visa before, will you believe me? I love being a citizen of America, but my problem na I go gree stay? … Once Oyinbo sight Naija passport, next na ‘step aside.’”
Angela encouraged fans to embrace patience and focus on progress, assuring them they too would achieve their dreams. She also highlighted her extensive travel history spanning over a decade, stating,
I’ve been going to America for over 12 years.”
Earlier this year, Angela debunked reports of living a fake life and allegedly being evicted from her home due to unpaid rent. Refuting the claims, she stressed that no landlord in Lagos would tolerate a tenant owing rent for two years. She attributed the rumors to industry politics and unfriendly acquaintances trying to tarnish her reputation.
In a bold response, Angela pointed out her contributions to humanity and questioned her detractors’ efforts toward community betterment. She also disclosed that her artist fee as of last year was $20,000, dismissing allegations of a “fake lifestyle.”
On the personal front, Angela recently opened up about her breakup with her boyfriend, Oil Money, citing his philandering nature. Sharing her ordeal, Angela called him a “pathological liar” and revealed how he continued to beg for reconciliation despite being blocked on all platforms.
Angela admitted that her experiences have left her cautious about love and relationships. She humorously noted the influx of messages in her DMs from “good guys,” but maintained her resolve to stay guarded, saying, “I’m running for my life, and I don’t know who to trust anymore.”
