Anita Okoye, the ex-wife of Paul Okoye (one half of the famous music duo P-Square), has sparked online reactions with a profound quote shared on her Instagram story.
The mother of three advised her followers to recognize their worth and avoid settling for less, stating:
“Only those with no vision mistake leftovers for a feast. Know your worth and never settle for scraps.”
Although Anita did not mention anyone directly, many netizens speculated that her post was a subtle jab at her ex-husband and his current wife, Ivy Ifeoma.
Some reactions to her post include:
- “Leftover dey call leftover leftover.” – Azubuike Zurich
- “One man’s poison is another man’s food.” – Dew_licious
- “You too is also a leftover ma! Both of you are leftovers.” – Yhur_mentor
The online community remains divided, with some interpreting her quote as self-reflective wisdom and others viewing it as unnecessary drama.
This isn’t the first time Anita has shared introspective messages. Following Paul Okoye’s remarriage, she emphasized the priceless value of life’s intangibles, listing inner peace, true love, and cherished moments as treasures money cannot buy.
In previous posts, Anita also celebrated her wins despite challenges. In June 2024, she earned a Master’s degree in Arts and Design from Savannah College, which her former sister-in-law praised, describing her as “a complete package.”
Anita and Paul Okoye finalized their divorce in 2023 after she filed for separation in 2022, citing allegations of cheating, fraud, and being an absentee father. The settlement included a monthly $20,000 payment and several mansions.
Paul moved on with Ivy Ifeoma, marrying her in May 2024 and welcoming a child together. Despite initial cordiality, the ex-couple unfollowed each other in August, allegedly due to Paul purchasing a second mansion in the U.S. for his new wife.
Despite the challenges, Anita has embraced her journey with grace. On her birthday in November, she reflected on love, gratitude, and personal growth, encouraging others to trust the process and celebrate progress.
