Job Description
Overview: As an Entry-Level Architect, you will play a vital role in assisting the architectural team in the design and development of various construction projects. This entry-level position provides you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the architectural field, working under the guidance of more experienced architects and project managers. Your responsibilities will span across different phases of a project, from initial concept development to construction documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design Support:
- Assist in the creation of architectural drawings, renderings, and models using software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design programs.
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop and refine design concepts based on client requirements, project specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project managers to organize and coordinate project activities.
- Support the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Documentation:
- Contribute to the production of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in the review and modification of design documents based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
- Site Visits:
- Participate in site visits to gather information and understand site conditions.
- Collaborate with senior architects during site analysis and feasibility studies.
- Code Compliance:
- Familiarize yourself with local building codes and regulations.
- Assist in ensuring that design plans adhere to all relevant codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Strong proficiency in architectural software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and materials.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong commitment to professional development.
