Folarin Balogun REIMS-AUXERRE

Arsenal is demanding £35 million ($44m/€40m) for on-loan striker Folarin Balogun, who has shone for Reims in Ligue 1 this season.

The Arsenal loanee is expected to be at the center of a mass bidding war this summer.

Balogun has scored 19 goals in 31 matches across all competitions for Reims this season, amassing interest from Europe’s elite.

Leipzig are said to have entered talks with Balogun over a possible move as the Gunners are willing to cash in on the 21-year-old’s breakout season in Ligue 1.

RB Leipzig is set to sell Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea this summer. This opens up room in attack for a new face. With Bolagun’s current form, this hopes to land the young striker.

AC Milan and Inter Milan are reportedly also interested in the Canadian International of Nigerian decent.

Balogun has made it clear that he will consider leaving Arsenal in the summer. That is if he’s not assured of first-team opportunities. Furthermore, his status at the Emirates Stadium is unlikely to change with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah ahead of him in manager Mikel Arteta’s pecking order of strikers.
