Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, popularly known as Ashabi, is beginning the New Year on a positive note by focusing on her happiness and personal growth.
The Yoruba actress, who shares two children with controversial singer Portable, shared a joyful moment on Instagram, showcasing a thoughtful package from a grill company.
Ashabi captioned her video with an empowering message, stating that just as dirty water doesn’t stop plants from growing, negative comments won’t hinder her happiness.

On her recent birthday, Ashabi radiated confidence and faith in a series of stunning photos. She revealed that her faith this year is stronger than ever and expressed confidence that everything will align in her favor. Portable, her baby daddy, joined in the celebration, calling her his queen and praying for God’s blessings in her life.
Looking ahead, Ashabi has set firm boundaries for herself. In a recent post, she vowed to embrace saying “No” more often, prioritizing meaningful work that brings her joy and sustains her financially. Acknowledging the weight of responsibilities, she questioned the practicality of unpaid work in meeting her financial needs.
