ASSISTANT MANAGER
Identifying potential suppliers of agricultural commodities in the allocated countries

By Sourcing our commodities directly from producers through our carefully selected network of suppliers and providing bespoke logistics solutions we ensure the quality of our products and the excellence of our services.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying potential suppliers of agricultural commodities in the allocated countries.
- Building and maintaining relationships with producers and suppliers
- Negotiating contracts for the purchase of agricultural commodities
- Ensuring Logistics & Supply Chain co-ordination with the internal teams to execute trade deals efficiently
- Assisting the relevant Commodity Manager in reaching out to new clients in the allocated countries
- Conducting analytical market research to identify trends, supply and demand dynamics, pricing fluctuations in the Agri-commodity trading
- Ensuring proper documentation and preparing management reports as required. ASSISTANT MANAGER
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management or a relevant field
- 5 years experience (minimum) in procuring, sourcing of agricultural commodities
- Experience in the sales of agricultural commodities is a plus
- Quantitative and analytical skills
- Problem solving
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop relationships with new suppliers and clients
- Networking within the commodities world, including exporters, traders and the industry buyers
- Attention to details
- Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel) are essential. ASSISTANT MANAGER
