Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auditor with advanced skills in Power BI to join our dynamic team. As an Auditor, you will be responsible for examining financial records, assessing compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to enhance organizational performance. Your expertise in Power BI will be pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable reports and dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial audits of the company’s records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles and regulatory standards.
  • Assess the organization’s compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Utilize Power BI and other data analysis tools to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources, creating informative visualizations and interactive reports.
  • Ensure data integrity and security throughout the auditing process and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance auditing processes and reporting capabilities through the integration of Power BI functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, compliance, and IT, to gain a holistic understanding of the organization’s processes and data requirements.
  • Present audit findings, data analyses, and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification is an added advantage
  • Minimum of years of relevant auditing experience, with a demonstrable track record of applying data analytics in audits.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and creating interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, as well as regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the quality of audit work and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, continuously seeking opportunities to improve auditing processes and reporting methodologies.
