Nollywood actress Bakare Zainab has ignited a heated feud with her colleague Wumi Toriola, venting her frustration in a fiery Instagram Live session.
Without directly naming Toriola, Bakare aired her grievances, expressing bewilderment at Toriola’s audacity to dictate terms and demand credit for inspiring Bakare’s new movie, “Sister Esther.”
In her impassioned address, Bakare admonished Toriola for her alleged behaviour, accusing her of rudeness towards fellow cast and crew members on set. Bakare asserted her independence, declaring her refusal to conform to any supposed standards set by Toriola, whom she dismissed as lacking in leadership qualities.
Expressing her exasperation, Bakare emphasized her readiness to confront Toriola directly, warning that she would not hesitate to name her publicly if the behaviour persisted. While refraining from explicitly mentioning Toriola’s name, Bakare’s pointed remarks left little doubt as to the identity of her target.
Last year, the actress recounted an encounter with fellow actor Bolanle Ninalowo, who allegedly refused to engage in a romantic scene with her, citing her status as a non-A-list actress.
