Bayern ‘pull out of race’ to sign Declan Rice

Bayern Munich has pulled out of the race to sign Declan Rice, report to Sky Sports.

Rice has now become too expensive for Bayern, according to the report, and will not bid for the West Ham midfielder.

The midfielder still has interests from other clubs in Europe and sources have it that Arsenal leading the race to sign the England international, despite interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Gunners have wanted Rice for a long time. But they were reluctant to pay the high price of the Europa Conference League winners. The 24-year-old will only leave for more than £100m, according to them.

Arsenal have not made an official offer for Rice yet, but they are expected to finalize the deal soon. The 24-year-old will become the most expensive English player of all time. Surpassing Manchester City’s deal for Jack Grealish and Real Madrid’s summer move for Jude Bellingham.
