Big Brother Naija Level Up winner, Phyna, has shared a touching reflection about her journey to self-discovery and healing.
The reality star, who is still mourning the loss of her sister, took to her Twitter and Instagram pages to open up about the moment she decided to choose herself over pain and disappointment.
Phyna revealed that she stopped looking for love in places that once broke her, and in doing so, discovered peace, growth, and a renewed sense of purpose.
“Somewhere between loss and silence, I found it — the true worth of life, not in riches or noise, but in breath, grace, and being. I stopped searching for love in places that broke me and found life blooming the moment I chose myself,” she wrote.
Her post quickly drew attention online, with fans commending her strength and openness in expressing her emotional journey.
This isn’t the first time Phyna has spoken about love and relationships. Last year, she sparked dating rumours after posting a photo with a mystery man, whose dreadlocks led many to speculate that he might be singer Khaid.
She also once shared how she walked away from a toxic relationship, revealing that she dated an Edo man for 12 years without marriage. According to Phyna, many Edo men are known for dating women long-term without commitment, a trend she warned women to be cautious about.
In a previous Instagram Live session, the outspoken star admitted she would love to marry someone like rapper Shallipopi, adding that she prefers dating Edo or Yoruba men over Igbo men.
Fans of the show also remember Phyna’s short-lived romance with fellow Level Up housemate, Groovy. Their relationship ended shortly after the show, with both sides later claiming they were never truly dating — just “playing the game.”
