Forbes has chosen seven Nigerians as part of its list of the 30 Under 30 self-made young African innovators. Forbes is an American business publication with a particular focus on business, technology, communications, science, politics, and law. It is owned by Integrated Whale Media Investments and the Forbes family.
On Monday, the names of the 30 emerging African innovators under 30 were posted on the Forbes website. There are 11 South Africans on the list, along with two each from Rwanda, Tanzania, and Ghana. Furthermore, there’s one each from Botswana, Namibia, Cameroon, Lesotho, Mauritius, and Kenya.
Award-winning singer Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, reality TV sensation Abiri Oluwabusayo, aka Khloe, footballer Asisat Oshoala, tech entrepreneurs Hansel and Germain Ndu Okeke, and business innovator Blessing Joel are among the Nigerians.
