A beauty vendor has come under intense scrutiny on social media after she revealed that Bobrisky who is currently Kirikiri Prison ordered products from her store.
The vendor, who posted the news on Twitter (now X), expressed surprise that beauty products were a priority for someone in prison, calling it the highlight of her week.
Her statement quickly drew backlash from many users, who accused her of violating customer privacy. Some of the responses included:
– Teeto Olayemi commented, “Isn’t this too much information as a business owner? No consumer privacy? This is absolute nonsense.”
– Ogboye Official wrote, “Ode seller.”
– Nnediorazu said, “What kind of a mumu business vendor is this?”
– Vadjewelry Accessories Backup added, “Vendor wey dey do chochocho. Sell your market in peace.”

The controversy has been further fueled by past incidents involving public figures. For instance, Bobrisky, a well-known personality, was arrested by the EFCC in April for Naira abuse. He was subsequently sentenced to six months in jail at Ikoyi Correctional Center after pleading guilty and promising to use his social media platforms to educate his followers against such behavior.
The vendor’s indiscretion has sparked a wider debate about the ethics of disclosing client information and the balance between business promotion and customer privacy.
