Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has encouraged her fans and the public to embrace the power of prayer regardless of life’s circumstances.
Sharing a lively video of herself dancing on Instagram, the mother of two stressed that prayer should be a constant—whether life feels rough or things are going well. She added that after prayer, one should also find time to play, dance, and celebrate.
“When life is rough, pray. When life is great, pray. After you pray, play, dance, jubilate… the devil is a liar!” she wrote.
Her post comes just days after her husband, Yousuph Ganiyu, sparked breakup speculations with a cryptic message about the dangers of a home without peace and respect. A quick check on their Instagram pages also revealed that the couple had unfollowed each other and deleted photos of themselves, further fueling rumors.
In July, Bimpe joyfully announced the birth of her second child, a baby girl, describing the journey as tough but ultimately victorious. She admitted experiencing fear and doubt during her pregnancy but expressed gratitude for God’s blessings.
The actress tied the knot with Yousuph Ganiyu in June 2023 at a Nikai ceremony. Their union drew attention as Yousuph already had two wives, yet Bimpe described him as a man who had loved her long before they met. She often praised him for being intentional and standing by his words, saying she felt blessed to have him in her life.
