Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has proven that love and respect can transcend separation as she celebrates her ex-husband on Father’s Day.
Taking to her Instagram page, Biola shared a heartfelt post featuring a photo of her ex-husband and their son. In the caption, she showered prayers on him and expressed her commitment to celebrating him always.
Biola wrote:

Last week, Biola Bayo revealed that she and her husband have been separated since April of last year. The actress announced their decision to co-parent their son peacefully and maturely.
In an emotional post, Biola expressed regret that her marriage didn’t work out, but emphasized the importance of prioritizing her well-being. She apologized to fans who might feel disappointed and asked for their prayers as she continues to navigate this challenging period.
I wish my marriage worked, but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story,” she wrote. Biola also disclosed how difficult the past 14 months have been, with many nights spent crying herself to sleep despite her efforts to bring happiness to others.
Following her announcement, Biola faced mixed reactions from the public.
Singer Portable appeared to mock the actress, highlighting the irony of her interviewing other people’s wives while experiencing marital issues herself. Similarly, actress Laide Bakare shared a video of herself twerking, with a caption implying that heartbreak is inevitable for everyone at some point.
However, Laide later clarified that her post was not directed at Biola. In a follow-up post, she affirmed her support for her colleague, describing Biola as her sister and sending prayers for her strength and happiness.
