Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus is marking her birthday with gratitude and reflection, celebrating life after her battle with a brain tumor. The actress took to Instagram to share her journey, revealing how the illness in 2022 nearly took everything she had worked for and almost claimed her life.
In her heartfelt post, Bisola thanked God for His intervention, noting that a brain tumor is an ordeal she would not wish on anyone. She expressed appreciation for the support of her family, friends, and well-wishers who stood by her during the trying period.
OWO RE NI MO RI… I will forever be indebted to God Almighty for His mercy, grace, favour, blessings, and eternal peace. When life challenges came, God proved Himself to me in many ways. If not for God, it almost took my life, but Alhamdulillah,” she wrote.
Bisola also gave special thanks to her son, Abdul Malik Olasunkanmi Ayinde Marshal, for remaining strong during her illness. She shared that the support extended to her by generous Nigerians, who assisted with her treatment and her son’s education, was a source of immense comfort.
Reflecting on her journey, Bisola shared photos from her treatment, celebrating her restored health and emphasizing that “what God cannot do does not exist.” Colleagues and fans flooded her post with congratulatory messages, praising her resilience and faith.
Last year, Bisola had revealed in interviews that she battled the tumor for three years, which affected her vision and daily life. Despite her health challenges, she persevered and gradually regained strength, while also speaking about co-parenting struggles with her son’s father, Kwam1. Supporters even stepped in to help with her medical needs and her son’s education, offering scholarships and financial assistance.
