Bobo Ajudua, the former lawyer of Nigerian music star Davido, has publicly responded to a viral video featuring a young girl who claims to be Davido’s daughter.
The video, shared on social media, has stirred significant controversy, with the girl revealing her achievements and aspirations, including her recent appointment as Head Girl at her school. Ajudua, however, insists that the claims are false and points to previous DNA tests that ruled out Davido’s paternity.
In the viral video, a young girl identified as Anuadeleke shared a message with her followers, stating that she had recently turned 11 and was excelling in school. She mentioned that she was appointed as Head Girl at the same school Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo had enrolled her in 2019. The girl also expressed her desire to reconnect with Olunloyo, despite not being in constant contact, and spoke about her hobbies, including singing, reading, and modeling.
Ajudua, however, took to social media to address the video, emphasizing that the allegations were unfair to both Davido’s family and the young girl. He pointed out that two separate DNA tests had already confirmed that Davido was not the girl’s father, with one of the tests being conducted at a clinic recommended by the Adelekes for peace of mind. Ajudua expressed frustration at the ongoing claims and urged the individuals involved to stop feeding the public with such lies, stating, “Please give it a rest.”
This is not the first time Davido has faced paternity accusations. In 2023, during the mourning period following the death of his son, several women came forward with claims of having sexual encounters with the singer, some alleging that he had fathered their children. Anita Brown, the most vocal of these women, accused Davido of impregnating her and publicly attacked his wife, Chioma.
Ivana Bay, a Paris-based entrepreneur, also alleged that Davido had fathered her child, sharing screenshots of their alleged conversations. Additionally, Kenyan socialite Pendo Stacy and a Nigerian woman named Chisom made sensational claims about their relationships with the singer, with Chisom accusing Davido of pressuring her to have an abortion in exchange for a large sum of money.
Despite these ongoing claims, DNA tests have consistently ruled out Davido’s involvement in these paternity allegations, with Ajudua reiterating that the public should stop circulating false narratives.
