Popular Nigerian crossdresser and alleged transgender, Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has unveiled a new motto for himself following the recent drama involving Vincent Otise, better known as Very Dark Black Man (VDM).
Taking to his Instagram story, Bobrisky communicated his stance regarding any future controversies associated with him. The controversial figure declared that silence would now be his response to any form of disrespect, pledging not to engage in arguments or confrontations.
In his post, Bobrisky stated,
Silence is my new answer to disrespect! I no longer react. I no longer argue, and I no longer dive into drama. I simply remove my presence.”
Very Dark Man had previously shared an audio clip on his Instagram, alleging that unnamed EFCC officers extorted N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges. In his claims, Bobrisky mentioned that a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his son had promised to secure his freedom and keep him out of prison.
Very Dark Man also implicated the rapper Falz and his father, Femi Falana, in Bobrisky’s legal troubles—a claim that the rapper and his father have since denied, threatening legal action unless a public apology is issued.
The audio clip caused significant fallout for Bobrisky, prompting the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, to announce that the commission would investigate the allegations thoroughly.
In response, Bobrisky took to Instagram to assert that the viral audio was fabricated and that he did not bribe any EFCC official to dismiss money laundering charges. He further insisted that he had already served his time in prison.
