Nigerian actor Bolanle Ninalowo has raised concerns over the alarming number of fake TikTok accounts impersonating him. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a video revealing the numerous profiles using his name on the platform, despite him not being active on TikTok.

Bolanle humorously expressed his frustration, asking how he could create a genuine account when his name has already been widely misused.

He wrote:

“Dang! And I am not even on TikTok. How do I now open a REAL account? People dey para ooo!!!”

Fans and followers took to the comment section to react to the situation:

  • One user, Brownshugar_23, commented, “1 million accounts opened in your name already? Omo meh.”

  • Another, Themagnificentcloset, wrote, “No be small thing.”

  • Narry Collections humorously noted, “Wow see as disciples plenty.”

Bolanle Ninalowo isn’t the only Nigerian celebrity facing impersonation challenges. Several other stars, including Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde, singer Peter Okoye, and entrepreneur Obi Cubana, have shared their struggles with scammers using their names and likenesses to defraud fans.

Bimpe Akintunde laid heavy curses on scammers tarnishing her reputation, while Portable’s baby mama, Ashabi, begged fans to report fraudulent accounts. Singer Peter Okoye lamented how online fraud is fueled by digital impersonation, and Obi Cubana called out fraudsters misusing his identity on Twitter.
