Role Overview
As the Booking/Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient property management. Your responsibilities will span both booking coordination and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Booking Coordination:
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and bookings via various channels (website, phone, email, and direct messages). Job
- Maintain an organized booking system, ensuring accurate availability, rates, and guest preferences.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to optimize occupancy rates and revenue.
Guest Relations:
- Provide outstanding customer service to guests throughout their stay.
- Address any issues promptly, including maintenance requests, special requests, and complaints.
- Coordinate check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Property Operations:
- Oversee property maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs.
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure properties are in excellent condition.
- Manage inventory (linens, toiletries, etc.) and restock as needed.
Financial Management:
- Monitor expenses related to property operations and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting.
Marketing and Branding:
- Assist in creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to promote properties.
- Craft engaging captions and posts highlighting the unique features of our homes.
- Respond to direct messages (DMs) promptly and professionally.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and property management teams.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management or hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of online booking platforms and property management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
- Experience in construction or real estate is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
