Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, has left many stunned with a surprising revelation on his Instagram page. Bovi disclosed that at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), three actresses offered him marriage proposals for a year, despite his marital status. However, he turned down the offers because they came with responsibilities.
In response to this revelation, actress Sharon Ooja playfully teased Bovi, expressing her readiness to be the new bodyguard for his wife, Kris Asimonye. She humorously promised to teach those actresses a lesson in the streets.

Bovi’s disclosure comes just weeks after he and his wife, Kris Asimonye, stirred reactions with their unconventional wedding renewal. The comedian shared a loved-up video of the couple on the beach, revealing that they had renewed their vows on water with mariners as officiating ministers.
Bovi, who got married to Kris in 2009, has been open about the profound impact his wife has had on his life. In a podcast interview, he credited Kris for transforming him from a ‘wild animal’ to a ‘domestic’ being. Last year, for their 13th anniversary, Bovi praised Kris for her ageless beauty and described her as a “weapon of mass destruction” for maintaining an attractive body despite birthing three children.
