The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has declared a nationwide strike to protest President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government’s increase in petrol pump prices and other measures.
Mr Ben Upah, the spokesperson for the NLC, verified this to DAILY POST exclusively on Wednesday.
He said the countrywide strike would begin on August 2, 2023.
He stated, “Yes, the nationwide strike will commence on 2 August 2023. We will soon issue a communique to that effect”.
