BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Attend and Manage business development meetings and opportunities with prospective clients
Overview
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving business growth within Fanch Energy Services Ltd. The primary focus of this position is to develop a pipeline of contracts and services, improve the network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
Strategic
- Implement corporate strategic business goals of developing competence in Business Development
- Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain & customer retention
- Attend and Manage business development meetings and opportunities with prospective clients
- Manage tenders and RFQs from existing clients. Job
- Develop Organizational Process Assets that provides a systematic approach toward Business Development for Fanch Energy Services
- Maintain key strategic partnerships / Alliances
Operational
- Lead company Business Development activities
- Responsible for overall performance of the Business Development team
- Company primary contact with client representatives, potential clients and new clients
- Develop business development plans and annual growth projections for input into the overall plan
- Identify skills gaps and make recommendations for training and certification qualifications for improved personnel performance
- Provide management with routine reports on the performance of plans and growth projects on a quarterly basis for presentation to the Board
Dimensions
- Expanded number of clients based on projected growth
- Continuous increase in projects or orders received from clients
- Request by client for replacement of non-performing personnel
- Established Business Development processes and protocols for engagement of potential clients

Job Context
- Responsible for the stewardship of all business development activities
- Allocation of appropriate resources including personnel, materials, and equipment for business development activities
- New business planning
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain, customer retention and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Key Targets
- Increase portfolio base by addition of at least 2 confirmed new clients per year. Confirmed clients are defined as clients who directly increase the company’s project base through orders and tenders.
- Increase projects addition from new client base (additions from potential sales orders and revenue) based on an agreed yearly scale (10% from previous year)
- Developing blueprint for business development. All external travel will be approved by the Business Development Director.
- Any other duties as assigned by Management
