Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth in our food industry segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a passion for the food industry. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the food industry segment. Job
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and food service providers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Develop and present proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to meet sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the food industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
