Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe’s ex-husband, Lanre Gentry, recently marked his 60th birthday, and his wife, Busola Gentry, could not hold back her joy as she celebrated him in grand style.
Taking to her Instagram page, Busola shared lovely family photos of herself, her husband, and their daughter, describing the day as one filled with grace and overwhelming love.
60 years of grace! Wow, I’m totally overwhelmed with love today. Just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you who wished me a happy birthday and celebrated with me! Your kind words, messages, and love mean the world to me. You all made my day extra special. Let’s keep celebrating life and love! May the Almighty bless you, your home, and everything that concerns you. Amen,” she wrote.
Lanre Gentry also took to his page to thank God for the privilege of witnessing 60 years, describing it as a long journey filled with grace.
I thank Almighty God for giving me the privilege and grace to celebrate 60 years on earth. It has been a long journey to witness this age, and for that, I am forever grateful. Happy birthday to me, Asiwaju Olanrewaju Gentry,” he wrote.
Back in July, the businessman had publicly celebrated Busola on her birthday, describing her as his “one and only” and appreciating her beauty and support.
Lanre Gentry and Busola tied the knot traditionally in September 2021 and welcomed their first child, a baby girl, a year later. Their union came after Lanre’s marriage to Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe ended in 2017 following allegations of domestic violence.
