Nigerian international Calvin Bassey has completed a €22.5 million transfer from Ajax to Fulham as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

Only three years ago, Bassey signed his first professional contract with Rangers. Under the guidance of Steven Gerrard, he developed rapidly and played a crucial role in their unbeaten season. Additionally, his contributions were vital during Rangers’ impressive Europa League campaign, which sadly ended in a narrow defeat against Frankfurt on penalties.
Following his remarkable performances, the 23-year-old caught the attention of clubs worldwide. This led to a lucrative £20 million move to the Netherlands, where European giants Ajax secured his services. Bassey made 25 appearances and scored one goal for Ajax last season, and he particularly stood out with his impressive displays in the Champions League.
