Bob Lee, a renowned tech executive and the founder of Cash App, has been tragically stabbed to death at the age of 43 in San Francisco, California. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 5, at 2:35 a.m. in the city’s downtown Rincon Hill neighbourhood.
According to reports from San Francisco police, Lee was attacked and suffered multiple stab wounds before being taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. At the time of this writing, no arrests have been made in connection with the crime.
Lee was a former chief technology officer at Square. Until recently, he had been serving as the chief product officer of MobileCoin, a San Francisco-based cryptocurrency company, according to his LinkedIn profile.
