Nollywood actress Chacha Eke has recently shared more details about a traumatic unbalanced episode she experienced a year ago. Taking to social media, she revealed a fake ID she had used in an attempt to escape her house during that time, shedding light on the extent of her painful journey.
According to Chacha, she went through an extended unbalanced episode, spending days wandering Lagos’s streets, hotels, and beaches. She even disclosed that she embarked on a boat journey to Ghana using the fabricated identification document she shared. In her own words, she described herself as a “drifter,” crossing borders in a state of fear and anonymity.
The actress explained that the episode began when she woke up early at 3 am, feeling unsafe in her own home. Seeking refuge, she hurriedly went to a motor park in Asaba and eventually travelled to Lagos.
Chacha Eke revealed that it was at First Bank Plc Ghana that her memory began to resurface, thanks to the assistance of a staff member named Esther. Esther recognized her and played a vital role in helping her remember her identity and where she belonged.
Reflecting on the experience, Chacha expressed gratitude for surviving one of the most challenging episodes she has ever faced. Her candidness about her struggles serves as a reminder of her strength and resilience.
