The UEFA Champions League group stage came to a close yesterday as Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday with a 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund, while Newcastle fell to AC Milan in the other group game.
PSG came from a goal behind to gain the point that propelled them through as Group F runners-up.
Bayer Munich top their table in Group A with F.C. Copenhagen coming second, Galatasaray and Manchester United in Third and Fourth respectively.
After the last round of group games on Wednesday, qualified teams for the UEFA Champions League’s last 16 were announced.
