Super Eagles duo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi made vital contributions as Leicester City thrashed their hosts Blackburn Rovers 4-1 at the Ewood Park on Sunday afternoon.
Iheanacho scored Leicester City’s fourth goal from the penalty spot 16 minutes from time.
It was the forward’s first league goal of the campaign.
Ndidi set up Jamie Vardy for the Foxes’ second goal of the afternoon.
Leicester City regained top spot on the table following the win. Enzo Maresca’s side have now amassed 24 points from nine matches.
They have a two-point advantage over Ipswich Town, who are in second position.
